Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance the main roles and responsibilities of this role will include:
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties:
• Capturing accounts journals • Reconciling all bonk accounts • Payment processing • Preparing complete. accurate accounts and related reports • Maintaining a complete and accurate fixed asset register • Assisting with the preparation of half year and annual accounts for internal and external Audits • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts • Coordinating internal and external Audits • Processing funds transfer request, ensuring timely payment • Posting journal entries for expenses and revenue • Preparing and filing Statutory returns as and when necessary • Resolving all banking transaction queries
Qualifications and Experience
Key qualifications a Competencies
• A Degree in Accounting/ACCA/CIMA/ Finalist • At least 2-years experience in a similar role and asset management background is an added advantage • Knowledge of Accounting Standards a must with technical expertise in Accounting field • Proficiency with Microsoft office packages i.e.. MS Excel • Attention to detail and organized with strong analytical skills • Goal oriented and able to deliver results with limited supervision
