Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Agronomist in Cell Insurance in Harare.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager the main areas of responsibility are:
Agricultural Underwriting
Business Development
Developing agriculture insurance products
Surveys and risk management
Customer acquisition and retention
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
BSC Honours Degree in Agriculture plus
Diploma in Insurance
Ideal Candidate must:
Have a minimum of 2 years working experience with exposure to farming/ agricultural
(livestock and crops) management
Have exposure to underwriting and claims environment in short term insurance, as an added advantage.
Be a team player and problem solver
Have proven business development skills with good communication and presentation skills
