Job Description
Our Client in the Financial Services Sector is looking for Agent Banking Officer to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To prepare a daily work plan and discuss with Agent Banking Manager on building an agent portfolio.
• To extract Agent Banking performance report for all agents daily for discussion with the Agents Banking Manager and comes up with action plans to improve portfolio.
• To prepare management and regulatory daily, weekly, and monthly reports which guides on remedial action to be taken on each agent.
• Prepare activities and schedules to implement on the agent portfolio and obtain approval from the Agent Banking Manager.
• Identify new Agents and customers in liaison with Agent Banking Manager and arranges Agent/Customer visits.
• Establishing and setting up new Agents and Customers.
• Communicate with Agents and Customers on new product offerings and changes in business conditions.
• Review Agent individual performance and recommends solution to improve profitability per each portfolio.
• Recommend action plan for non-performing Agents and necessary training needs.
• Prepare presentations on Agent performance and presents to agents.
• Visit the Agents/Customers and presents the best products and services in line with customer needs.
• Review Agent Banking products offered by agents and recommends new products which are suitable for the target market.
• Support Agents in Selling and cross selling the Bank’s products and services.
• Process Agent Banking Application forms and ensures each file has all required documents.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Banking and Finance/ Business Studies/IOBZ Diploma
• At least 3years in a banking operational environment, with knowledge in banking systems.
• Good problem-solving skills, expressing the ability to question, listen and understand and respond to customer queries timely.
• The ability to show empathy (where necessary) to diffuse and resolve customer dissatisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use own initiative.
