Job Description


Reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Location: Head Office
The position exists to provide timely and efficient administration services to the Authority.

Duties and Responsibilities

Providing administrative support on all human resources strategies. processes, policies and service contracts.
Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic a. digital format Providing adequate, efficient and systematic maintenance of employee files and documents to ensure safe storage and easy retrieval.
Recommending, administering and reviewing administration policies
Coordination of human resources meetings. departmental action items tracking. travel, workshops, training. ensuring appropriate arrangements and resource requirements in liaison with relevant stakeholders.
Establishing systems for proper transport vehicle management
Establishing and maintaining an efficient registry system by recommending effective and best practice registry management systems to ensure CAAZ keeps up to date with current trends.
Managing fuel issuances, consumption and reconciliations in liaison with payroll section In conjunction with Payroll team, liaises with service providers to ensure that the service provided to staff members is in line with agreed standards.
Running of the payroll as and when the need arises.
Supporting the whole employee life cycle activities which include recruitment, selection, performance management and industrial relations process.
Preparation of the Administration budget for CAAZ in liaison with the Human Resources Management
Compiling periodic and ad-hoc reports on time and makes appropriate recommendations for management attention.

Qualifications and Experience


• A Degree in Business Administration/Management or Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• Qualification in Payroll Administration
• 3 years' relevant experience in Administration and/ Human Resources.
Skills and Competencies
• Multi-talented individual with the ability to juggle between administration and human resources duties.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and ability to run the payroll.
• Good analytical skills.
• Highly computer literate.
• Ability to prepare and interpret budgets.
