Administration Assistant x1: Zimbabwe Technical Assistance, Training and Education Center for Health (Zim-TTECH).

About the organization:
Zim-TTECH is seeking highly qualified and experienced applicants to fill the position of an Administration Assistant, based in Belgravia, Harare. Zim-TTECH's activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health system strengthening; health workforce development; operations research and evaluation; prevention, care and treatment of infectious diseases. Zim-TTECH is funded by PEPFAR through the Center for Disease Control to implement HIV & TB treatment and care services in five Zimbabwean provinces in support of the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) under the Zim-PAAC (Zimbabwe Partnership to Accelerate AIDS Control) program. The contract of employment is for twelve (12) months effective 01 October 2020 to 30 September 2021 and is renewable subject to availability of funding and satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Position Summary
The position exists to ensure that office premises are well maintained and have a good appeal. The successful candidate will report to the Receptionist.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Cleaning, manicuring and maintaining office grounds; Caring for and cultivating foliage including planting, fertilizing, weeding, watering, trimming and pruning, soil conditioning, mulching and applying pesticides; Ensuring office toilets are always clean and that all outdoor seating and other structures are safe; Operating and maintaining gardening and landscape equipment; Assisting with spring cleaning as and when requested; Ordering garden supplies and equipment; Helping the Logistics Officer with tiding up of containers or storerooms as and when requested; Performing any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
At least 3 O ’Level passes; Minimum of 2 years’ working experience; Knowledge of various types of foliage, flowers, trees, shrubs and other greenery, and how to maintain them; Knowledge of gardening products such as fertilizers and pesticides; Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time; Must be creative and innovative and be able to multi-task and work with minimum or no supervision; High level of integrity, honesty, commitment, and professionalism.
