ADMINISTRATION AND LOGISTICS ASSISTANT
Reporting to: Finance & Administration Officer
Location: Harare
Purpose of the position: The Administration and Logistics Assistant’s responsibility will be to
perform day-to-day administration duties and other administrative duties as maybe assigned by
the FAO.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Providing administrative clerical and logistical support to the organization.
• Organizing logistics, managing schedules and maintaining records for vehicles and bikes.
• Initiating payments for security, cleaning, electricity, telephone and other admin costs on a monthly basis.
• Support Finance and Administration Officer by managing office supplies, coordinating
meetings and handling communication tasks.
• Raising internal purchase requisitions for meetings, workshops, vehicle maintenance and other related requests.
• Keep stock of office supplies
• Ensure the maintenance and tracking of assets at the office.
• Preparation and submission of financial reconciliations after meetings.
• Performing general clerical duties (photocopying, scanning, mailing, filing, etc.).
• Supervise cleaners and grounds man to ensure offices and grounds are well maintained.
• Ensure office security is maintained and that security guards are performing their duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Degree in Administration or equivalent.
• 2 years ‘experience working in a similar position
• Proficiency and experience in MS Word, Excel, social networking, use of tablets and
Apps.
• Must be an effective communicator and able to work under pressure with minimum
supervision
