Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following posts which have arisen within Mudzi Rural District Council:
ACCOUNTS CLERK (GRADE 6) X2
REPORTS TO ACCOUNTANT

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Invoicing all council revenue.
Verifying daily receipts and bank.
Updating cashbooks and transactions daily.
Maintaining accounts receivables.
Following up on debtors and revenue collections.
Compiling payment vouchers and process payments.
Effecting payments via cash or bank transfers.
Ensuring proper acquittal of funds.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Experience with Sage Pastel.
At least one year experience in Public Sector.
Must be at least 25 years old.
