We are growing concern based in Harare currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team.
Reports to : Accountant
The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance to the Finance Department. The job involves running of day to day finance administration, processing of accounts, managing deadlines and the execution of monthly reconciliations.
Key Duties
Prepare and post journals
Process invoices and accounts payable/receivable
Preparation of payments to suppliers
Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns
Filing and keeping thorough record of all business transactions
Reporting all discrepancies/variances
Assist accounting personal with any tasks conducted within the accounting department.
Qualifications and Experience
HND/ Degree in Accounting or any equivalent qualification
2 years’ experience in a related field
Proficient in accounting software (e.g.QuickBooks, Pastel,) and Excel
Ability to work under pressure
Strong attention to detail
