We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Accounts Clerk to enhance our finance
department’s efficiency. This role is ideal for a candidate eager to apply their foundational
accounting knowledge to support day-to-day financial operations while contributing to accurate
and compliant record-keeping.
Processing customers and supplier payments, and client account reconciliations to
ensure timely financial transactions.
Collaborate with senior staff to compile and verify financial data for monthly reporting.
Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and assist in periodic inventory audits to
resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and file statutory documentation for tax compliance (e.g., PAYE, VAT).
Execute monthly reconciliations of bank statements and ledger entries to uphold
financial integrity.
Aid in the development of budgetary frameworks and cost analysis under supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
1–2 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or
similar roles.
Competency in accounting platforms (e.g., Pastel, Sage) and advanced proficiency in
spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
Foundational grasp of IFRS standards and financial documentation practices.
Keen eye for detail with a commitment to precision in numerical tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative setting.

Exposure to payroll systems or inventory reconciliation processes.
Academic excellence in quantitative or business-related subjects.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in a corporate environment.
