Our client is looking for an Accounts Clerk who will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting the implementation of robust financial systems. This role is critical for improving financial oversight and supporting the growth objectives for a Construction Company .
Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
Assist in preparing and filing financial documents for compliance and audits.
Data Entry and QuickBooks Utilization:
Input financial transactions accurately into QuickBooks.
Assist in leveraging QuickBooks features for financial management, such as accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and reporting.
Reporting:
Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and sales reports.
Assist in generating performance reports for management review.
Accounts Management:
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and accounts.
Assist with processing payments to vendors and payroll preparation.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Aid in developing and maintaining operational budgets for marketing, sales, and other departments.
Support the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analyses.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure financial transactions comply with ZIMRA, NSSA, NEC, and other regulatory standards.
Assist in maintaining documentation for tax filings and statutory reporting.
A Level Accounting experience.
Someone who is a quick learner and adapter.
Knowledge of Zimbabwean financial regulations and compliance requirements is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
1-2year experience in the same post is desirable but not a must
