Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the following position that has arisen in our organization. The successful candidate will be working at St. Anne’s Hospital.

Accounts Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent will be reporting to Accountant and will be responsible for the following among other duties:

 Contributes to the preparation of monthly management accounts by preparing supporting schedules.
 Updating, maintaining and Debtor’s age analysis.
 Liaise with the debt collectors as per instructions from superior
 Liaise with the billing officers and billing nurses for real time information
 Debtors Reconciliations.
 Reconciling Debtors statements and attending to customer payment queries.
 Makes follow up on outstanding medical aid claims and debtors.
 Assists the preparation of both internal and external audits.
 Producing requested reports to the Accountant.
 Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

 HND or Degree in Accounting
 3 years’ experience in the Accounting area.
 Computer proficiency pertaining to MS Office is a prerequisite
 Proficiency with excel and accounting packages.
 Advanced Excel skills
