Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for this fixed term job opportunity of an Accounts Clerk that has arisen at Cellmed Health Medical Fund in Harare. This is 3.5 months temporary job opportunity available from mid December 2020 to end of March 2021.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accountant, the main responsibilities of the job are:
• Preparation of weekly cash flow projections
• Payments processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Creditors reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Qualifications and Experience
Ideal Candidate must:
• Have a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy OR Part C CIS OR equivalent. A Degree in Accountancy will be an added advantage
• Have 5 ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics
• Have 2 ‘A’ level passes
• Possess 2 years post qualification experience in accounting with medical aid sector experience as an added advantage.
• Possess good analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• Be highly computer literate with basic Pastel exposure
• Be very good with figures.
• Be a person of integrity who is able to observe and protect the confidential nature of information.
