Our Client in the ICT industry is looking for qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Accounts Clerk.
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements.
Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax submissions and returns
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Support management with financial analysis and decision-making
Requirements
Accounting/ Finance qualification
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines
1. Currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic accounting software is an added advantage
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Good organizational and time management skills
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
8. A positive attitude and willingness to learn
