Accountant Revenue
Grade : 4
Reports to : Deputy Town Treasurer
Post Objective : Revenue generation and collection, investigating variances, and ensuring that billings are issued to customers and payments collected.
• Management of the revenue section
• Contributes to the preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of revenue management reports
• Preparation of revenue draft budget
• Maintenance of accounting books
• Debt collection
• Maintenance of accounting systems
• Materials management
• Supervision
• Budgetary control
• Assist in the final Audit process
Knowledge and Skills
• Knowledge of Promun 4.6 is an added advantage
• Computer literacy
• IPSAS
• Supervisory skills
• Excellent written and communication skills Clean class 4 driver's licence
Qualifications
Accounting degree /Equivalent
Professional qualification an advantage
Experience
A minimum of 3 years working experience in a local authority at supervisory level
At least 30 years of age
