Job Description

Sports and Recreation Commission (SC), the custodian of sport and recreation development and regulation is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions:

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for preparation of management of accounts, preparation of financial statements, reconciling receipts and payments, preparing closing journals, preparing audit schedules, assisting in the preparation of budgets and maintaining the assets register.

Qualifications and Experience

Person Specification:
• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA or CIMA;
• Have at least two years' experience in accounting;
• Have knowledge of Pastel and International Public Sector Accounts Standards (IPSAs);
• Must have demonstrable understanding of the role and importance of upholding professional ethics; and
• Must possess excellent conceptual, analytical, report writing and interpersonal skills.
