We are seeking an enthusiastic Accountant to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for supervision of the finance team to timeously prepare regular and ad hoc financial and management reports. Check and ensure timely submission of statutory returns. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information and run NEC payroll. Promptly authorize payments

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Preparation of monthly management and year end financial statements
• Ensure compliance with Statutory bodies requirements and payments
• Payments Authorization & Reconciliations
• Management of accounts payable and receivable processes
• Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Management of company assets
• Supervision of subordinates
• Analyse business operations, financial commitments, costs, revenues, and trends to develop projections for future revenue and expenses

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• A person with ability to organise work into a structured process that consistently meets tight corporate reporting timelines
• a person with very good MS Excel spreadsheet skills and a natural flair for detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Verifiable work experience as an Accountant
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or
• Possess a professional accounting qualification -
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting corporate reporting environment that uses a recognized ERP/ accounting package
• Possess a minimum of valid unendorsed Class four driving license.
