Accountant

Job Description

Wanted is an accountant with an understanding of group accounting principles and knowledge of pricing and price build up mechanisms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preparing financial statements.
Analyzing operational costs.
Budgeting.
Tax preparation.
Auditing financial statements.
Implementing and/or maintaining accounting systems.
Managing payroll.
Creating and improve accounting processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 12 months overall practical exposure required within a formal business environment
Knowledge of the local banking fraternity
Understanding of the local fiscal and marketing environment
Exposure to currency sourcing via the agency of the RBZ as well as processing off-shore payments
Knowledge of import related fees and taxes
High compliance and steadiness attributes
Effective communicator across all levels
