Job Description
Sports and Recreation Commission is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions:
1. Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for monthly preparation management of accounts, preparation of financial statements, reconciling receipts and payments, preparing closing journals, preparing audit schedules, assisting in the preparation of budgets and maintaining the non-current assets register
Qualifications and Experience
Experience
• Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and or a professional qualification such as CIS, CIMA, and ACCA
• Have at least 2 years' experience in accounting
• Have knowledge of Pastel
• Must have demonstratable understanding of the role and importance of upholding professional ethics.
• Must possess excellent conceptual, analytical, report writing and interpersonal skills.
