Job Description

We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic individual to fill the above position.

Reporting to the Business Development and Innovations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that Sales Targets are achieved to eventually generate revenue for the Authority.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
The incumbent’s key responsibilities shall include but not limited to: -
• Development and Implementation of a robust sales strategy that will ensure sustainable growth of the Authority’s revenues.
• Coordinating deployment of agricultural services to Commercial Services clients.
• Processing sales orders.
• Tracking invoicing for sales.
• Ensuring that Service Level Agreements are signed off
• Maintaining Sales Records for all commercial agro-services.
• Coordinating preparation of Sales Contracts and Agreements.
• Achievement of agreed weekly, monthly and Annual Sales targets.
• Profit and loss responsibility for the SBU.
• Value preservation.
• Risk management.
• Expenditure management for the SBU.
• Attending to queries from customers.
• Gathering market intelligence and making recommendations to the Line Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Sales, Marketing, or a related agriculture field.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in sales or related field.
