About Farmgate World

Farmgate World is Owned by Mahomed and Sharif Jassat. We are Australian Citizens but were both born in Zimbabwe. Although we have spent a considerable time in Australia we have always had our business interests in Zimbabwe & the Rest of Africa. We have a lot of experience in Trading in Africa but we consider Zimbabwe our home, and believe our knowledge of the Agricultural Industry in Zimbabwe is key in our latest project. Mahomed was voted Business man of the Year In Zimbabwe and is Testimony to the Influence we have in The Business World In Zimbabwe. Apart from Zimbabwe we have Business interests in the agricultural sectors of Kenya , Rwanda and South Africa.

To accommodate our future business growth, we have recently signed an MOU with the government of Rwanda to jointly plant Macadamia Trees. In the East African region of Kenya & Tanzania, we have entered into agreements with local farmers’ cooperative unions to ensure a steady supply of raw nuts at fair and competitive prices.
