Job Description
To effectively and competently control the movement of delivery trucks at the weighbridge through compilation and generation of accurate reports for factory and agricultural operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitoring of day to day weighbridge operations.
• Reconciliation of daily delivered and crushed cane.
• Compiling daily reports for delivered, crushed and exported cane to Chief Chemist
• Communicating ethanol trucks arrivals and dispatches from the weighbridge to marketing.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports of cane delivered to the Mill to be used for factory reports.
• Monitoring weighbridge performance and reporting any faults to Shift Supervisor.
• Adhering to health and safety issues (monitoring outbreak of fire).
• Maintaining accurate records and files.
• Carry out any other duties as instructed by Chief Chemist.
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 5 “O” Lever passes to include English and Mathematics.
• At least 3 years of proven experience working with the weighbridge.
• Attentive to detail.
• Good MS Office.
• Team player.
