Job Description

Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients – a manufacturing company to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the position of WAREHOUSE CLERK.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handles the company's incoming and outgoing merchandise, and to manage the company's stock.
• Checks that orders are complete and not damaged.
• Receives products and checks that they are not damaged.
• Return any damaged products.
• Record all received items in the computer system.
• Pack items in a methodical way.
• Clean the warehouse.
• Prepares reports about shipments and inventory levels.
• Label the goods.
• Maintains the storage area and replenishes work supplies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years’ related working experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery.
• Computer literacy.
• Relative physical strength and stamina.
