The post holder will represent UMCOR Zimbabwe at the district level with responsibility to ensure effective operation of the field office(s), communication and coordination with stakeholders and quality of programs. The District Manager will lead the programme and operations teams with technical support from the Senior Management Team in Harare. The post holder will be expected to set an example for the team and maintain the standards established by UMCOR.
Requirements: Honours Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Social Sciences or related qualification ▪ Master’s degree in the above fields will be an added advantage ▪ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience ▪ Experience of agricultural livelihoods, asset creation, electronic cash transfers, resilience and WASH programming is desirable.
Data Capture Clerk
The post holder will provide all data entry services to Kariba Office and prepare source data for computer by compiling and sorting information. Assisting in developing improved beneficiary records management. Generates statistical and data reports.
Requirements: Degree in Computer Sciences or any related qualification.Two years’ experience in data capturing. Should have knowledge and experience in using scope database. An experience with any humanitarian sector is an added advantage.
The post holder will be responsible for giving technical support to Mbire, Binga and Kariba districts in the implementation of the Crisis Modifier Project throughout all the District. Provide engineering technical assistance to Kariba, Binga and Mbire District in programme design, implementation and monitoring of the Crisis Modifier project. Prepare quantitative and qualitative reports consistent with donor requirements and UMCOR Zimbabwe standards on field activities.
Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Three years’ experience in a similar position preferably in the humanitarian sector. Good level of proficiency in MS Office Packages and other Project Management Software Experience in implementing community based civil engineering works including project .Experience in Livehoods Voucher Transfer System.
Project Officer (Harare)
The post holder will represent UMCOR at National Level with the responsibility of facilitating the Livehoods Focuses Voucher Transfer System (LFVTS) response across resilience sectors to ensure effective operation of the project and participate in the assessment of community needs and resources collection of baseline data to assist in project.
Requirements: Honours degree in Agricultural Economics/Business Management/Logistics and Supply Chain Management or relevant qualification.5 years’ experience in Voucher /Cash transfer system and NGO experience. Analytical and systematic in approach, yet able to think and act strategically. Experience in Project Management. Fluency in English is essential. Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as negotiation skills.
