Summary of responsibilities
The graduate intern will be expected to support programs in the MUGOTA / IXHIBA young man’s forum under the gender department. As part of work deliverable the intended graduate intern will be expected to recruit male students, strengthen their capacities and coordinate their work plans including social media activities
Provide support as required in the gender department in relation to the male students amongst other responsibilities; Arrange external and internal meetings; Attend meetings and prepare minutes or summaries of the proceedings; Pro-actively contribute to day-to-day gender activities according to approved work-plans; Prepare activity reports as required and in prescribed format; Perform office and other administrative support routines as and when assigned by the supervisor.
Educational and Professional Qualifications: Degree in any Social Sciences or related field.
Applicants must have a traceable history of peer education work/ and equivalent voluntary work in young people’s health; At least 1 year of experience including graduate internship.

An ability to work effectively in teams and accept leadership and guidance; A self-starter and able to work independently; Computer literacy; English proficiency and ability to communicate; Passion for development work including SRHR; Good interpersonal skills, including team working and networking skills.
