Transport officer will be responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation. This includes managing budgets, organising schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
- To assist in the development and maintenance of the organization's transport safety policies, maintenance, rules and regulations.
- Development of transport standard operating procedures.
- Look for business for machinery and earth moving equipment.
- performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Management.
- A degree or Equivalence in transport management/ logistics management.
- At least 3 years experience in transport management or related profession.
- Good administrative and effective communication skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- Some mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage.
