Job Description

Telesales Agents required to contribute to generating sales for the company, closing sales deals over the phone, and maintain good customer relations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell devices and financial services to civil servants.
• Market company products and services via telephone and other digital platforms.
• Attend to client queries and answer questions about products or the company.
• Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sale
• Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
• Take and process orders in an accurate manner
• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
• Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
• Listen to customers’ needs to generate repeat sales.
• Keeping up to date with all products and informing customers of new products.
• Prepare and present achievements and KPIs
• Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases, and reactions to products.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as telesales agent or related field
• Diploma in Sales, Marketing or related field
• Customer Service qualification is an added advantage.
• Proven record of met Quota over the phone
• Software qualifications.
• Excellent communication with superior people skills.
• Selling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers.
• Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaint
• Creative thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
• Patience and ability to handle customers in a conversation.

• Computer literate
