Job Description

Teaching Assistant – Peace and Governance Department (2 Posts)
The posts are renewable for up to three (3) years and the Teaching Assistants are required to register for a Master’s degree.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to assist lecturers in the teaching of courses within the department and provide support to students. The candidate will be expected to assist lecturers in basic and applied research in the department. Successful candidate will also be expected to be involved in university and extension services.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Peace and Governance with at least an upper second degree class or better. Applicants should be prepared to undertake postgraduate studies.
