Job Description

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe is looking for a Talent Development Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Researches on the current trends in talent development management.
• Reviews the quality of talent development materials from user departments in line with learning principles.
• Works with Head of Talent and Organisational Development and Line Mangers to effectively execute the Talent Strategy.
• Facilitates training and development initiatives
• Responsible for talent development statistics analytics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Conducts post course evaluation for all talent development programmes in line with agreed Talent Development framework.
• Conducts and coordinates induction programme for all new staff members
• Coordinates students on attachment programmes and reviews their development
• Coordinates the graduate trainees programme in accordance to the competency guides
• Administers the staff educational assistance programme as per the Talent Development policy.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6 ‘O’ Levels including English Language and any 2 A ‘level passes
• Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent Social Science Degree.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.
• Good interpersonal skills are a must.
• A highly analytical mind is required for this position.
