Job Description
Our client is in need of a systems administrator and technical support. In this role, the successful individual will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy
Duties and Responsibilities
-Install and configure software and hardware
-Manage network servers and technology tools
-Set up accounts and workstations
-Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
-Troubleshoot issues and outages
-Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
-Upgrade systems with new releases and models
-Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
-Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor degree in technology/ computer science or relevant field
Cloud economics certification is required
Certification in Azure fundamentals and AWS Cloud practitioner
Azure administrator associate
AWS sysops admin associate
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
