JOB SUMMARY

STORES CLERK
We are looking for a Stores Clerk who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of stores from receiving, dispatching, stock checks, minimizing variances and maintaining the supply and demand of
inventory, and ensuring that there are adequate stocks available.

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock
-Submit purchase/receipt details (vendor’s information, invoices and pricing as required
-Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
-Formulating and implementing stores control systems and procedures
-Strict monitoring and controlling the daily and weekly issuances of stock out of the department.
-Ensuring issuance of tools/ equipment as well as return back into the stores department
-Checking the placing of stock/tools/spares correctly and tidy in the designated areas and maintaining
sale and clear access to all stock.
-Carrying and offloading heavy hardware staff.
-Highly driven, pro-active with a sense of urgency for strong delivery that can take the initiate and head up the company stores department.

Qualifications and Experience

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
-Degree in Stores Management/ Retail and Logistics Management /Risk Management or equivalent
-Knowledge of mechanics and mining hardware essential.
-Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work with key stakeholders at all levels S
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
-Clean class 4 driver’s licence
-At least 3years hands on experience in stores/ warehouse management
-Physically fit, able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift and able to lift
up to 25kgs or more.
-Young and energetic
-Good customer oriented
