Job Description
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced persons for the position of Software Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
The key deliverables for this position shall, inter alia, include:
1. Develops software solutions by studying information needs, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes.
2. Develops information systems by designing, developing and installing software solutions.
3. Follows the software development cycle.
4. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and code comments.
5. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming.
6. Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending purchases, testing and approving products.
7. Builds interfaces for system integration.
8. Protects operations by keeping information confidential
9. Any other duties as delegated from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Degree in Information Technology or Computer programming or related field.
2. 5 years post-graduate hands on experience in a similar environment.
3. Knowledge of MYSQL, MSSQL, JAVA and Accounting Software.
4. A clean class 4 driver's license.
