SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS (2 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
 Developing, testing and implementing new software programs;
 Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications;
 Maintaining and upgrading existing systems to ensure strong functionality and optimization;
 Integrate software components and third-party programs;
 Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software;
 Create technical documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

 A Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognised university;

 Strong hands-on software development experience using Java, PHP, C#, SQL Server, MySQL Server, NET Framework, ASP.Net, MVC, Laravel PHP web framework, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS Bootstrap and jQuery;
 Experience and knowledge of Web services development, RESTful APIs and version control systems e.g GIT;
 Strong understanding of object-oriented programming;
 Experience with design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of large-scale software solutions in teams;
 Mobile application development would be an added advantage;
 Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;
 Industry certification will be an added advantage.

 Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly;
 Excellent analytical skill and strong problem-solving skills;
 Good communication (both written and verbal), time management, and project management skills;
 Self-development skills to keep abreast with fast-changing trends.
