Job Description
Survey land for housing stands:
Use various instruments and tools, GPS receivers, laser scanners, and drones, to measure and collect data.
-Take precise measurements of distances, elevations, angles, and coordinates.
- Document and record survey data using (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, Contractors and other professionals to understand project requirements.
- Provide accurate survey information to support the design and planning processes.
- Ensure that construction activities align with survey data and specifications.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to site measurements or conditions.
2. Quality Control and Accuracy: Maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in survey measurements.
- Perform quality control checks to validate the accuracy of survey data and resolve any measurement errors or inconsistencies.
- Regularly calibrate and maintain survey equipment to ensure reliable and consistent results.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Land Surveying and Geomatics
Minimum 10 years proven experience in conducting land surveys and site assessments.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments, CAD software, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
