SCOOTER DRIVER
Reporting to: The Director
Brief description
The position of a Scooter driver consists of driving a Scooter or other vehicles over established routes to clients in a polite and friendly manner while also working efficiently and compliance with the company procedure.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Counting quantity of items asked for by the customer and ensure that any broken things are isolated and reported to the supervisor immediate.
Make sure that any unusual incidents or accidents are reported to the immediate supervisor
Load Scooter with listed goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly
Unload and sort items collected
Receive messages and materials to be delivered with information on recipients such as Names Address and delivery instructions
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery.
Deliver messages and items such as documents, and packages to other establishments and private homes.
Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery routes.
Record information such as items received and delivered and recipients response to message.
Keep proof of delivery or record goods and provide feedback to relevant authorities.
Do pre-trip inspection on and after delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMENTS
2 years’ experience driving a scooter
Class 2 drivers’ license
A clean driving record
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
