Job Description
One of our clients is looking for a risk officer. The job implements the risk management cycle, provides comprehensive risk reports to management and the company boards, and provides expert advice to the risk management functions across other operating units and service functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Risk identification and assessment
Risk mitigation and monitoring
Coordination of segment teams
Risk aggregation and reporting
Risk advisory services
Administration
Researches and keeps abreast with emerging global trends and practices and ensures the knowledge is passed to all business managers
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Risk Management or Insurance from a reputable institution or equivalent
At least 2 years’ experience in risk management or related roles
Exposure to financial services/insurance/medical aid environment is a distinct added advantage
