Department: OPERATIONS
Reporting to: OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Main purpose of Job: This role exists to ensure returns are received, checked and processed within agreed timelines in
line with the Company’s returns policy and procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Summary:
• Receiving returned goods from all branches
• Evaluation of the reason and nature of product malfunction in line with warranty arrangements if any
• Communicating with product manufacturers on the nature of the return.
• Liaising with customers and giving them feedback on their product.
• Evaluating warranty/guarantee arrangements.
• Addressing common manufacturer’s faults on respective product lines with the Product suppliers.
• Assist the customers on how to operate/use the product to avoid further returns.
• Assist branch staff with product knowledge so they assist customers at the point of purchase.
• Evaluating manufacturer’s performance based on returns and complaints.
• Strategically plan and manage the movement of returns to and from the manufacturers and back to client.
• The post holder will be expected to undertake other duties commensurate with the level of the post.
Person Specification:
• A Commercial Degree or Equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification/ MBA/ MBL an added advantage
• 10 years’ experience in Procurement and/or Logistics.
• Solid understanding of returns procedures.
• Ability to multi task
• Be able to communicate at all levels
