Duties and Responsibilities


Job Description

A Language Assistant works under a supervisor to carry out language consultancy and research for a particular language or portfolio in the Institute. Apart from research and consultancy, a Language Assistant is actively involved in the designing of innovative research proposals for submission to granting agencies to secure funds for the Institute.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

The candidate must be a holder of a first degree in African Languages majoring in one of the languages indicated above;
Alternatively, the candidate must be a holder of a first degree in African Languages and should be a first language speaker of any one of the languages above; and
A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
