Vacancy: Relief Teachers: History, English and Geography (2 months) (Job Ref: HGSS 24/1/23)

The Teachers should ensure that History, Geography and English curriculum objectives are realized.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
 Maintaining the classroom register and passing on vital information to the office.
 Consulting and informing parents regarding pupil’s progress of your class and individual pupils.
 Conducting himself/ herself in a professional manner in terms of both dressing and behaviour and leading by example.
 Ensuring that all lessons are well prepared and that interest is generated to ensure that material is presented in a
professional manner.
 Delivering lessons, preparing instructional media, explaining concepts, giving oral and written exercises
 Preparing scheme-cum-plan
 Assessing pupils performance, carrying out continuous assessment, marking exercises, revising assessment tests
 Supervising pupils work.
 Maintaining record books.
 Participating in co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and skills required
History Teacher
Minimum of BA History; Post Graduate Diploma in Education will be added advantage
English Teacher
Minimum of BA English; Post Graduate Diploma in Education will be added advantage.
Geography Teacher
Minimum of BSc Geography; Post Graduate Diploma in Education will be added advantage.
