Job Description
A vacancy exists in the New Business Development and Regulatory Department for a Regulatory and Development Analyst reporting to the New Business Development and Regulatory Affairs Manager. The position is based in Bulawayo. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced professionals who meet the following minimum requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Provide technical expertise within the New Business Development and Regulatory Affairs Department.
• Ensure that all the products manufactured by Datlabs are in compliance with current pharmaceutical regulations.
• Draw up packaging material specifications and ensure compliance of incoming packaging material.
• Design and implementation of the product stability programme and stability testing
• Carrying out product development from DoE stage through to market authorization
• Participate in technology transfer and validation operations within the department
• Participate in the good manufacturing practice, good laboratory and documentation practice audits.
• Carry out annual review of SOPs
Qualifications and Experience
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• 3 'A' levels with Chemistry as a compulsory subject
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, or Biochemistry or Applied Chemistry or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• A Master's in a relevant science discipline is an added advantage
• At least three year's working experience in research and development or quality control preferably in regulated industries like the pharmaceutical or veterinary industry
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
• A good communicator, able to work independently and a team worker
• Able to work under pressure with accuracy
• A reliable and responsible person who works with little supervision.
