Our client is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the position mentioned above.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage Quality Assurance budget and manpower planning.
• Assuring Product quality and standing in the market place.
• Reduce product losses to <0.25% of production volume produced every month.
• Release in spec, good quality products to the market.
• Give accurate, on time, test results.
• To ensure zero batch failures after product release.
• Yields to be >99%, zero defects of materials in production processes.
• Customer satisfaction rating>85%.
• Hygiene scores to be >70%.
• To reduce warehouse losses.
• Reduction in obsolete and expired goods in stock in stores and production.
• To ensure ISO compliance in manufacturing processes.
• Resolve product related customer complaints in conjunction with Marketing.
Qualifications and Experience
• . Degree in Food Science from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in food processing industry.
• An MBA is an added advantage.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of SAP.
Clean Class 4 driver’s licence
