Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned post. The incumbent will be reporting to the Business Development and Marketing Manager. The position exists to ensure proper planning of publicity and brand visibility strategies and campaigns, writing and producing presentations and press releases as well as enhance company social media presence, including working on websites and promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key accountabilities will include:

• Create innovative and engaging public relations and media campaigns.
• Bean active member of the marking team and collaborate with designers to create promotional content.
• Write, edit and review all media content and press releases.
• Maintain good relationships with media houses and clients.
• Organize PR activities to promote the company's image and serve as the spokesperson.
• Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations.
• Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, exhibitions, tours and visits speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations
• Creating marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content creation, and implementation schedules.
• Ensuring brand consistency in marketing and social media messages.
• Provide training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies.
• Market intelligence
• Design, gather information and produce the CMED Magazine and other publications.
• Prepare regular PR and social media marketing reports

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Experience

• Degree in Public Relations/Marketing or equivalent
• A Digital Marketing/Social Media Management Certificate is a must
• 2-3 years' relevant experience
