Job Description

We are looking for an experince production manager who have already been working in this field and could be a potention to our paint manufacturing company.

The production manager will be responsible for the overall paint manufacturing processes and systems to support production and services that the company offers to it's customers. He/She will be responsible for leading in the paint manufacturing processes to meet quality, capacity, and product flow requirements while implementing advanced technologies to improve cycle times, reducing downtime, lowering cost, and driving improvements in overall paint quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coach and Develop procedures/reports assuring a high quality and productive paint manufacturing processes.

Develop and drive key metrics that support Nash paints company goals.

Communicate goals and progress.

Identify gaps, prioritize problems, and lead/coach continual Kaizen to close gaps.

Practice and teach lean tools: A3s, PDCA, 8 step problem solving, Production Line Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.

Involve groups outside the production line in problem solving.

Look for and coach flow, safety, 5S, standard work; assess/analyze current processes and drive improvement projects for safety, quality, throughput, and cost.

NOTE: These duties are subject to change as business needs and strategies evolve. Employee may be required to perform other duties of comparable complexity.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a chemical production or engineering discipline required

Preferably a holder of a Master's degree in chemical or production engineering

Lean Six Sigma and/or Lean Training preferred

Strong background of world class manufacturing systems

Experience:
Minimum of six years of work experience in chemical production environment

3-5 years as a production manager or technical leadership in paint or chemical production industry.

Required Skills:
Ability to apply fundamental chemical engineering principles to identify and drive non-standard solutions to solve manufacturing constraints.

Comfortable providing clear and focused technical guidance to the production team.

Ability to work in rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance, self-starter, yet team player.

Ability to manage one or more projects involving cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal and outside groups.
