Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and co-ordinate new product development projects in line with the Banks’s strategy.
Prepare budgets that deliver new and innovative products to the market.
Lead in conducting cost benefit analysis and investment appraisal for all new products for the Bank and Group.
Track and manage new projects costs and ensure that these are aligned to budget.
Develop and manage new products detailed work schedule and work plan.
Lead in providing new product updates to the market and various stakeholders.
Champion the introduction and entry of new products to the market.
Monitor and report on new products performance in the market and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and uptake of new products.
Perform product demonstrations and presentations to various stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
A Degree in Computer Science, Business Studies, Business Management, Marketing or similar qualification from a recognized and reputable tertiary institution.
A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Leadership or similar post graduate qualification is an added advantage.
At least 5 years’ banking experience working on new product designs, implementation, market research and commercialisation.
Should possess strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Have demonstrable project management and project appraisal skills and competencies.
Familiarity with project management software, techniques and best practice is essential.
Above average presentation and communication skills.
