JOB TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The incumbent should be detail-oriented, thorough, and organised and able to oversee purchases, develop new contracts and a good negotiator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Estimate and establish cost analysis, reports and budgets for purchases
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
Work with team members, warehouse staff to complete duties as needed.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
