Job Description

Mutasa Rural District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant posts that have arisen within Council.

JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT CLERK: GRADE 7
REPORTS TO: PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Duties and Responsibilities

Job description
Ø Preparation of purchase orders.
Ø Creation and maintenance of procurement records and files.
Ø Maintenance of registers such as Procurement Register
Ø Sourcing of quotations.
Ø Minute taking of PMU meetings.
Ø Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Person specifications
Ø Five O' levels including Maths and English.
Ø National Certificate in purchasing and supply/ Logistics.
Ø One year working experience.
Ø Computer literacy
Ø At most 35 years.
Ø Class 4 driver's licence is an added advantage.
