Job Description

Personal Assistant To The Director-Corporate Affairs (Head Office Harare)
Reporting to the Director - Corporate Affairs, the successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support services to the Director Corporate Affairs whose is responsible for Administration, human Resources, CT and Marketing and Public Relations, in order to meet the Authority objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Director Corporate Affairs in coordinating and implementation of the Authority's strategic planning activities to ensure the Authority's objectives are met.
• Assist the Director Corporate Affairs in tracking result from the performance management system (IRBM) from Heads of Department in line with Authority's strategic plan.
• Analyse Information, data and reports for decision making by the Director Corporate Affairs.
• To provide administrative support to the Director Corporate Affairs' Office.
• Manage stakeholders including the Director Corporate Affairs' various stakeholder engagement meetings as delegated by the Director Corporate Affairs.
• Assist the Director Corporate affairs in carrying out research for specific tasks, produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
• Compile packs for the board and management meetings as directed by Director Corporate Affairs
• Assist the Director Corporate Affairs in ensuring that the reporting deadlines are met track and ensure that all reports due to the Director- Corporate Affairs are submitted on time.
• Devise and maintain office systems, including data management and filing systems to ensure confidentiality.
• Organise, maintain diaries and make travel arrangements for the Director-Corporate Affairs.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifying Requirements
• A Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent.
• A Diploma in secretarial is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in secretarial work in an Executive office.
• Drivers' license

• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of business administration, communications and public relations activities.
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly computer literate, with working knowledge of MS office, E-mail, Internet
• Possess ability to observe strict confidentiality.
• Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
