Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above vacant position at Head Office.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible, among other things, for:
Providing support and monitoring processes of strategic planning, innovation, quality management, change management, continual improvement as well as ensuring the right execution of operational and strategic goals of the Organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main Job Functions
1. Monitoring Evaluation and System Development
• Monitor the implementation and development of the strategic and operational plans, ensuring compliance with established goals and objectives.
2. Accountability, Risk, Programme Design, Development and Implementation
• Propose continual improvement initiatives, facilitating their implementation in consultation with Management.
• Coordinate and facilitate the development of the Organisation’s manuals, standards, processes and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and policies.
• Support in the monitoring and evaluation of projects.
• Develops Risk and Quality Management Policies in conjunction with Management.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide risk management system.
• Evaluate effectiveness of the Client Feedback System.
• Monitor implementation of conformance/compliance requirements as per the relevant risk or quality instrument.
• Perform routine Audits on the Quality System to establish gaps on practices against quality requirements.
3. Capacity Building Mentoring
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff in using evidence for programme management
• Organise and facilitate training on monitoring, evaluation, compliance functions for capacity building of the programme team
4. Learning, Information Sharing and Reporting
• Develop satisfaction measurement frameworks that relate to various customers.

• Coordinate the conducting of Client Satisfaction Survey once every 2 years.
5. Data Quality Assessments Periodic data quality assessments
• Provide the necessary information for timely decision-making to ensure compliance with objectives and goals.
6. Customer Relations
• Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Ensure the proper functioning of the quality management system and internal controls

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements for the Job
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Economic Sciences., Monitoring and Evaluation, or Engineering will be considered.
• A Masters’ Degree and a diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage.
• At least 4 years’ direct experience in a position of monitoring and evaluation of large-scale projects.
• Strong experience in conducting research studies including the entire evaluation cycle, from design to completion.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Highly computer literate.
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence.
