The following vacancy has arisen within the Operations Department and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill this vacancy on a permanent base.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of staff by means of regular appraisal necessary to provide a quality service.
• Assisting in the development of a business case for identified projects that will meet stakeholder expectations.
• Monitoring the growth and retention of existing business and acquisition of new business from walk in clients and catchment medical aid business.
• Conducting research and analyses data, using it to plan and manage both service units and systems
• Monitoring departmental financial performance against financial targets.
• Ensuring compliance with patient safety standards, clinical appropriateness regulations, Local authorities’ regulations, MCAZ and HPA regulations.
• Supervising the pharmacy and clinic inventory management process.
• Monitoring the performance of Locum reportees in line with the Service Level Agreements
• Overseeing the operations of Clinics and Pharmacies.
• Structuring communication programs and activities, business meetings and functions to grow market share, increase patient service satisfaction and improve results outcomes.
• Assisting in the development of a business case for identified projects that will meet stakeholder expectations
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
• Degree in Business Management or any business-related field
• 8 years relevant experience, 5 years of which must be at a supervisory/management level similar or related environment

• Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same.
• Ability to work under pressure
