Job Description
Our client in the earth moving business is looking to recruit for the position mentioned above.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control.
• Responsible for safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues.
• Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws
• Responsible for people side ie recruitment, training , performance appraisal
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Should have a degree in hydrology or an equivalent
• Masters degree is an added advantage
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s license
