Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task oriented individuals to fill the above position that have arisen within the Operations Department in one of our Strategic Business Unit (Nash Furnishers)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating production activities through planning with all the departments
• Ensuring the effective management of all production, retail staff and ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout operations.
• Effectively communicating with the Retail Management and shop staff, cascading information as relevant.
• Representing the trading business and communicating externally as required.
• Promoting a customer care approach within the retail business, investigating complaints or issues of poor customer care, both timely and efficiently
• Developing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring the retail
operating plan and budget.
• Ensuring that all shops are efficiently and effectively managed, visiting
them regularly, and monitoring their compliance with policy, procedure
and standards.
• Monitoring stock in each shop and ensuring there are adequate
supplies.
• Identifying methods of stock generation in conjunction with the Shop
Manager, and to respond to stock concerns where relevant.
• To ensure adherence to operations procedure manual.

Qualifications and Experience

BSc in Business Management or relevant degree
• 3 years’ experience in operations leadership
• Supervisory/Management experience
• Experience in management of resources to optimize equipment,
facilities, employees, methods and materials
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing and continuous quality improvement
principles
• Superior attention to details
• Critical thinking skills
• Problem solving skills
• Good leadership skills
• Integrity
• Honest
